A wish of the living

A directive from the deceased

Be happy…..

A place of calm

A connectivity and peace

To be happy…..

One must see happy

In acts of kindness at the very least

To be happy…..

Is not a passive mode

Nor a state we are owed

To be happy …..

Is  actively gained

When restoring smiles on others drained

For in the end…..

The true smile of happiness seen

Bears witness to what we create not glean

HAPPINESS - SYNOPSIS

Happiness is a universal state sought by the living and presumed to be messaging from our deceased loved ones. My personal muse is that happiness is not passively obtained by gifts, travel, or good fortune. It is experienced vicariously with our active participation in creating happiness for another human being. After all, a gift given fares better and further than a gift received whatever it may be.
