Two years I have scoured the books
Entropy, consciousness, block universe;
Read volumes trying to explain
The haunting question of further existence
I looked to nature to give insight
Hinting immortality’s possibility;
Butterflies, lobsters, jellyfish
Each sequenced from vessel to at least spirit freed
Convinced the answer lies before our eyes
No tools or synapses yet to make us wise
Science shows energy not destroyed
Merely transformed, reduced from whole to particle
Faith declares our essence survives
Our thoughts set free into another realm of energy
Two years, this mystery haunts my space
Will there ever be reunion face to face
Then one night the vision appears
Behind a clear white windowed door
Flowing gray hair encircling a cherub faced smile
Adorned with a white collared PFG
“Open the door…open the door…”
Words spoken repeatedly
My feet seemingly stuck, my heartfelt plea
“I’m trying...I’m trying…”
Curtains rise and eyes startled wide
A warmth of contentment encases me
The connection is there between spirits and here
Even as I am grounded in earth’s gravity
“Open the door…open the door…”
Narrow the gap of energy, the message sent
So I can communicate—you’ll see
“Open the door…open the door…
OPEN THE DOOR… - SYNOPSIS
Two years of profound grief clouded my vision of coincidentals set before me. My conviction has always been that science and faith do partner in our understanding of life’s beginning and existence after death. I believe that the answer is before us—we just lack more tools and developed synapses to visualize this truth.
It took a near death experience of recent and my husband’s messaging that finally gave me insight into coincidentals that were there before that event and those that followed in a cluster thereafter. For me, there were just too many coincidentals to be accounted for by chance occurrence. I feel I am slowly gaining some understanding day by day.
