There was a young girl with a large curl

Whose third finger just needed to twirl

So she twirled with no luck

Cause her finger got stuck

And now she’s a four fingered young girl

THE DREADED DREADLOCK - THE STORY

The “Dreaded Dreadlock” is a sequel to “The Hat”. It depicts my granddaughter, Avery Jane, now five years old with enviable curly hair, twirling her finger in one of her curls so tight that it takes on the appearance and behavior of a dreadlock. Needless to say, combing her hair is everyone’s nightmare when assigned this task.
