The world cowered to terrorists
Who tried to subjugate
Those perceived as antagonists
Just folks of varied faiths
Accepted but devoid of proof
Faith conflicts had world stage
Until truth’s inconvenience
Made tyrants come of age
Testy verbage with flailing arms
World leaders carved out space
To grow egos of magnitude
Be damn the human race
Ruby rivers fill city drains
Bombs crater all the streets
Each side professing their own truth
Without standards to meet
Thunderous shouting escalates
And muscles flex galore
Atomic annihilation
Comes knocking at the door.
TRUTH BEGONE - SYNOPSIS
The downward spiral of truth as an undisputed entity first caught my attention with my travels around the globe. My excursions were carefully planned with avoidance of terrorist targeted areas. I never dwelled on it much as their advocacy of truth was faith based which can never be proven. After all, conversion by the sword is steeped in history. However, the false narratives now fueling political agendas occupy the world stage. Conspiracy theorists have always represented a flickering pilot light but aspiring autocrats have ignited the flame bringing us closer to a potential apocalyptic event in addition to the great humanitarian disaster it has already created.
